The mandate

Engineering rigor that scales across borders.

ORA Ingénierie is the engineering arm of OGG. Founded in 2015 in Morocco, the practice has grown into a pan-African design office spanning eight countries, with permanent teams in Berrechid, Dakar, Bamako, Ouagadougou, Abidjan, Lomé, Cotonou, and Antsirabe.

Three poles structure the work: power systems (HV/LV substations, switchgear, lighting, generators), MEP fluids and fire safety (HVAC, plumbing, sprinklers), and renewable energy (PV from 10 kWp to 5 MWp, hybrid systems with storage). Standards are international. Delivery is local.

Role in the operating system

Where the brief becomes a project.

In the OGG closed loop, ORA receives the structured mandate from Rona and produces the technical foundation: feasibility studies, BIM models, equipment specifications, bills of materials, construction methodology.

ORA hands off to Shenzhen Nexus for procurement, then to HD Gestion or Africa Power Invest for site execution. The engineering file remains the common reference across the chain.

Geography & capability

Eight countries. Three poles. One quality standard.

Permanent operations in Morocco, Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Togo, Benin, and Madagascar. Six departments cover engineering, sourcing, coordination, QHSE, maintenance, and support.

BIM-first methodology (Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Tekla BIMsight) coupled with discipline-specific software (See Electrical, Caneco, Dialux, SoHVAC, PVsyst). Maintenance contracts run 24/7 across delivered assets.

Track record

Selected mandates.

  • West Africa · 2024

5 MW photovoltaic plant — West Africa

A West African industrial group needed an on-grid PV installation to displace diesel generation and stabilize energy costs.

Plant commissioned · 24-month maintenance contract

  • Morocco · 2024

    Hospitality MEP package — Maghreb

A four-star hotel program required full MEP engineering — HVAC, electrical, fire safety, BMS — coordinated with civil works on a tight delivery schedule.

    Multi-lot delivery · BIM-coordinated · zero major non-conformity

  • Burkina Faso · 2025

    Industrial site electrification — Sahel

An industrial operator in the Sahel needed a hybrid solar-diesel-storage system for round-the-clock operations with a 30% diesel cost reduction target.

Hybrid system commissioned · diesel cost reduced 35% year one

Engage ORA

An engineering brief that needs delivery, not advice.

If you have a project that requires the rigor of an international design office and the local presence of a continental operator, ORA Ingénierie is built for that.
